La Goya Manzanilla comes from Sanlucar de Barrameda, near Jerez in Andalucia. Sanlucar is the centre of Manzanilla, a fino style sherry that we believe has the edge on Fino.
La Goya Manzanilla is a delicious dry, crisp fino style aperitif. It has complex aromas of almonds, citrus peel and camomile which lead you into intense, yet elegant nutty flavours. There is a hint of saltiness from its extensive time under ‘flor’, in the town of Sanlucar, near the Atlantic Ocean. It is aged for about 7 years in “Criaderas” using the Solera system with native yeasts.; given the work that goes into these wines, they truly represent excellent value. Manzanilla is best drunk chilled and fresh; this perfect sized half bottle enables you to do just that!
